Hi Holger,
Just started listening to the Aretha last 3 days, Wow!!! It hits all the right things a preamp should be and this is the initial listen, sounds fantastic: better soundstage, gain in volume, clear instruments and voices, almost like a veil has been lifted from my previous preamp (solid state Rotel RC1590 MKii). My speakers are Kef R900, various amps (using a Elac Alchemy DPA-2 right now, Class D), I will try with a Bryston 2.5B cubes and a cayin integrated tube amp to compare. The tone controls are great too for not so good recordings, I don't need my subwoofer now. Thanks for the great work on the Aretha.
Sincerely,

Hi Holger,
Today was Ray’s day. After an hour or so Ray sounds great. I Hope to try him on a pair of open baffle speakers I made last year. For now Ray is powering the Cornwalls. Makes me wonder why anyone needs more than four watts after party years

Thanks Holger.
I just returned from a 6 -week trip to Asia. With the jetlag, I just now have a chance to set up the Titan MKII, listen to it and it sounds wonderful.
